Cluebound is an AI-powered lateral thinking puzzle app. You solve short mystery stories by asking an AI narrator yes/no questions.
Cluebound is currently in testing and will be available on the App Store and Google Play soon.
Yes, it's free to download and play. The free version shows ads and includes 1 free hint per game. You can unlock more hints by watching a rewarded ad. An optional Premium subscription removes ads and gives you unlimited hints.
To be answered, your questions and solution attempts are currently sent together with the story text to Google's Gemini model. We're moving our AI to Anthropic's Claude; once the move is complete, these requests will go to Claude. Either way, your name, username and email address are not included in these requests. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. Create a room for 2 to 8 players and share the 6-digit code, or join an open room from the lobby. Rooms are either free-for-all (everyone asks at once) or turn-based (30-second turns).
Yes. The editor walks you through the title, story, solution, hints, red herrings and key facts. Published content is checked automatically against the community rules.
No. The answers come from the AI narrator, so you need an internet connection.
The app and its stories are available in English and Turkish. You can switch the language in Settings and filter the feed by language.
