Delete your account and data

This is the account and data deletion page for the Cluebound app on the App Store and Google Play (developer: [DOLDUR: Veri sorumlusunun adı soyadı veya şirket unvanı]). You can delete your account in two ways. Either way, the data linked to your account is permanently deleted within 30 days at the latest.

Deleting your account does not cancel your Premium subscription. Apple or Google takes the payment, so cancel there first: on iPhone, Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Option 1

Delete in the app

  1. 1Open Cluebound and tap the Profile tab in the bottom menu.
  2. 2Tap the gear icon in the top right to open Settings.
  3. 3Scroll down and tap Delete Account under Danger Zone.
  4. 4Confirm it's you: enter your password if you signed up with email, or verify with Google or Apple if you signed in with them.
  5. 5Tap Permanently Delete My Account.

Your sign-in account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. The other data linked to your account is deleted from our servers within 30 days at the latest.

Option 2

Request by email

Use this if you can't access the app (for example, you've uninstalled it or can't sign in).

  1. 1Write to miracakkoyun@clueboundapp.com from the email address registered to your account. If you used Apple's "Hide My Email", you can write from another address and just include your username.
  2. 2Use the subject Account Deletion Request and include your username (@...) and sign-in method (email, Google or Apple).
  3. 3We may get back to you to confirm the account belongs to you.
  4. 4Your request is completed within 30 days at the latest, and we'll confirm by email.

What is deleted

  • Your account and sign-in details: email, display name, username, avatar, country code
  • Your profile, level, XP, rank and statistics
  • Your game sessions: questions, solution attempts, scores and leaderboard entries
  • The stories, comments and likes you've published
  • Your follow relationships and notifications
  • Your notification token and your account link in the subscription service (RevenueCat)

What is kept or deleted later

Feedback and report records
May be kept anonymously, unlinked from your identity.
Multiplayer room records
Deleted automatically 7 days after the room is created.
Crash reports
Not linked to your account; deleted automatically after 90 days.
Server logs
May contain your user ID; deleted automatically after 30 days.
Purchase records
Kept by Apple and Google for as long as legally required.
Records we must keep by law
Kept only for as long as the legal obligation lasts, then deleted.

Deleting some data without deleting your account

You can delete your own stories at any time from the My Stories tab in the app. For your comments, game history or other data, write to miracakkoyun@clueboundapp.com and we'll complete your request within 30 days at the latest.
